Had high hopes but felt ignored when I needed help urgently

During my trip, the car broke down unexpectedly. I called customer support multiple times but received no timely assistance. This left me stranded and worried. Though the car itself was fairly new, the lack of support ruined my experience. If they improve emergency responses, they’d be much better.

Awesome service, perfect cars – totally recommend James Blond Rentals!

Had an amazing trip renting from James Blond. The car was spotless and felt brand new. Staff were very chill and helped with all my questions. Pickup and drop-off were quick, no hassles at all. Loved the vibe and reliability, great value for the price. Will use again for sure if I return to NZ!

Downright disappointing – rude staff and broken promises everywhere

I booked a vehicle for my business trip and requested a GPS system included, which was not provided. The staff were rude and dismissive when I complained. Also experienced delays and felt ignored. Very unprofessional on what I expected from an international rental company. Won’t use again or recommend.

Reliable cars but customer service could use some improvement

I rented a car from James Blond Rentals last month. The vehicle was in good condition and drove smoothly throughout my trip. Super chill crew and sweet cars make James Blond a solid choice!

Local guy here - been renting from James Blond a couple of times this year. Always a friendly welcome and the cars drive nicely. They’re not luxury rides, but clean and reliable for whatever road trippin’ you got planned. Staff are approachable and make the process real easy, always recommending spots around the country too.

Loved the vibe but the car condition left something to be desired

The approach and vibe of James Blond Rentals were spot on - young, friendly, and fun. Unfortunately, the car I got had a strange noise from the engine and the interior smelled old. They handled the complaints decently, but I think vehicle maintenance could be better. Still, a cool option if you don’t mind minor flaws.

Staff unhelpful and rental conditions too strict in my opinion

I found the rental process tough as they were very strict about minor scratches and fuel levels. When I tried to get clarifications, staff were less than helpful — quite dismissive actually. Felt like they were more interested in fines than customer satisfaction. The car was okay but that experience put me off.

Yo, this ride was tight but the wait sucked real bad, no lie

Caught a sweet little ride from James Blond Rentals and the whip was clean af. No complaints about the car, mad smooth. But man, waiting forever just to snag the keys was a buzzkill. Need to fix the queue game or give peeps a chill spot or sumthin. Still, the overall vibe was pretty good once I got rollin'.

Rental was decent but would’ve loved more flexibility with return times

The car rental went fine, the vehicle was clean and ran with no issues. Staff were pleasant too. However, their return policy was rigid and forced me to rush back earlier than I wanted, adding stress to my last day. A bit more flexibility in pickup or drop-off timing would make this company shine even more.
