OcarRent messed up my reservation, really not cool man

Booked a ride for a weekend getaway, showed up and they told me the vehicle wasn’t available anymore because my reservation got lost in their system. Had to scramble at last minute, which stressed me out big time. Not the kind of hassle I wanted on vacay. Need to sort out their system, pretty basic stuff!

Had high hopes but the experience left me feeling quite frustrated

I had heard good things about OCarRent but my own experience was disappointing. The car was delayed and when I finally drove it, I found several faults that were not mentioned on the site. Customer care was slow to respond and did not offer compensation. Overall, I believe this company has room for improvement in transparency and service.

Car had a weird smell and service didn’t fix it despite requests

The car smelled quite musty when I got it, which was uncomfortable during the drive. I contacted OCarRent about it but the response was slow and no replacement or treatment was offered. Not what I expected, as I often rent cars and this was below standard.

COOL but kinda annoying when the car had issues right away

Yo, so I grabbed a ride from OCarRent last month, and honestly, the car looked dope and clean. But the thing is, the AC was acting all crazy hot on me, and it was a real bummer driving around in the heat. Customer service tried to help, but I still had to deal with the sweat. Not the worst, but def not perfect either.

Not happy with the fuel policy, it felt unfair and costly

I thought the rental was straightforward but the fuel policy caught me off guard. They charged me for a full tank even though I returned it nearly full. Trying to get a refund was a nightmare. This left a sour taste as I felt the company was more focused on making extra bucks than customer satisfaction.

The vehicle was not clean inside, definitely below expectations

While the booking process was smooth, I noticed the car was quite dirty inside. There were crumbs and some trash left by previous users. That didn’t make the ride comfortable at all. For the price I paid, I’d expect better hygiene standards and attention to detail. This really impacted my overall impression of OCarRent.

Service delay and no proper update made the experience unpleasant

I was informed my car rental was confirmed but on pick-up day, there was a long delay without any updates from the company. Waiting at the location for over an hour was inconvenient and unacceptable. Clear communications are essential in service-based businesses and sadly OCarRent failed in this regard for me.

Disappointing experience due to delay in vehicle delivery timing

I booked a car through OCarRent for an important business trip. Unfortunately, the car arrived nearly two hours late, which caused me to reschedule multiple meetings. The staff was polite but not very helpful in resolving the inconvenience. I expected more reliability from their service, and this delay was quite upsetting given the urgency of my plans.

Customer support could improve, car was not ready on arrival

Upon arrival, the vehicle was not ready as promised. I had to wait over 45 minutes for the car's preparation, which was inconvenient as I had plans nearby. When I reached out to customer support, the response times were slow and not satisfactory. I believe OCarRent should improve coordination to enhance punctuality and customer communication.

Rental car was old and felt unreliable, not what I signed up for

I usually choose rental services expecting modern, reliable cars. But OCarRent handed me an older model with multiple scratches and some mechanical quirks. It made me uneasy throughout the journey. The price was low, but quality also has weight if you ask me. Won't prefer this company next time.

I tried booking a car but the process was confusing with unexpected fees popping up at checkout. The website didn’t clearly state these charges upfront, which felt deceptive. Battery dead when I got the car, bad luck I guess

I went to pick up my ride from OCarRent but found the battery was dead. Took a while to jump-start and get going, which was frustrating and kinda embarrassing in front of people waiting. Not what you'd expect when paying for a rental. Hopefully, they'll check their vehicles better next time.

Car engine made strange noises, communication was poor

While the car looked clean and had decent mileage, soon after driving, the engine started making unusual noises. I called customer support but I didn’t get clear advice or a timely solution. Ended up nervously finishing my trip with that issue unresolved. OCarRent should enhance vehicle inspection and after-service.
